B2B lead generation
B2B lead generation from registries, not from a rented list.
Peitho finds companies from official business registries and public map data across 232 jurisdictions, alongside the public conversations where a company's staff are describing the problem you solve. Every company lead can carry a website, phone number and email address, extracted from the company's own site.
Two kinds of B2B lead
A company is a lead when it matches your profile — the right industry, size and place. A person is a lead when they are asking a question you can answer. Most tools do one and claim the other. Peitho collects both into the same pipeline, so a company lead can be worked as an account and a conversation lead can be answered in the thread it came from.
- Company leads come from registries, map data and your own searches
- Conversation leads come from Reddit, X, Discord, forums, feeds and Hacker News
- Both share one CRM pipeline, with notes, tags and CSV export
Where the company data comes from
Eight national registries are wired in — the UK, the US, Ireland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland and Norway — plus global coverage of 232 jurisdictions. Registry search returns what the registry publishes: registration identifier, name, type, jurisdiction and founding date. Map data covers local businesses, and is the source that carries phone numbers and addresses.
- Registry sources are free and keyless where the registry allows it; several ship disabled by default
- Searching by industry and place is what map data is for; registries search by company name
- Every result records which source produced it, and results are de-duplicated per source
Getting from a company to a contactable person
Registry search endpoints usually publish no website, which makes a company uncontactable. Peitho adds a website enrichment step: it reads the company's own site and its contact and about pages, and extracts an email address, phone number and postal address if they are published, with a confidence score per contact and the source recorded. It never guesses a domain, because a guessed address is a bounce and a complaint.
- Contacts are typed — email, phone, address, contact name — with a source and a confidence
- Placeholders, no-reply addresses and vendor domains are rejected
- Enrichment runs on a schedule and on demand, for one company or a batch
Compliance, and the parts we refuse
Outreach is manual by design. Drafts are written one at a time against the specific company, and sending them is a person's action — there is no bulk send endpoint. Organisation outreach cannot be enabled without a postal address, an unsubscribe list is enforced globally, and every rendered email carries an unsubscribe link and the sender's identity.
- Discovered content is public; nothing is taken from private or gated sources
- Company registries are queried through their own public search endpoints
- Company data can be exported to CSV, or synced to a CRM
The pipeline behind it
Company leads move through the same forward-only pipeline as conversation leads — new, contacted, interested, converted, or dismissed from any stage — with notes and tags attributed to the person who added them. Webhooks can notify another system when a stage changes, and a CRM connection can push records to HubSpot or Pipedrive.
Common questions
- Where does the company data come from?
- Official national business registries and public map data — not a purchased or scraped contact database. Registries publish registration details; map data supplies local businesses with phone numbers and addresses where they are published.
- Do the registry sources cost anything?
- They are the registries' own public search endpoints, and most are keyless. A few ship disabled by default and can be switched on per deployment. Nothing is metered or resold.
- Can it send cold emails for me?
- No. Outreach drafts are generated one at a time against a specific company and a person sends them. There is no bulk send. An unsubscribe list is enforced, a postal address is required before an organisation can send at all, and identity and opt-out are appended to every message.
- How are company leads kept separate from conversation leads?
- They are separate record types that share one pipeline, so a stage change, a note or a tag behaves the same way on either. They can be filtered and exported together or separately.
